Flaming Lips Play The Soft Bulletin In Its Entirety At Noise Pop
2/22/2012 6:18 PM
ET
The Flaming Lips played their 1999 album, The Soft Bulletin, in its entirety, at the 20th iteration of San Francisco's Noise Pop festival. Front man Wayne Coyne, speaking with Rolling Stone, remarked that he does not often think of the songs contained on the album, but was pleasantly surprised at how good they are: "I don't think about these songs very often. That's how all songs are - you do them, you record them, and then you move on to the next song."

Romantic drama "The Vow" also put up another strong total with $23.60 million despite the release of "This Means War," which opened with a mediocre $17.55 million.....

More Over-the-Top Nic Cage In 'Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance'
2/17/2012 4:13 PM
ET
There is one major success in "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance": it doesn't take very long to announce that it's a bad, hilariously outlandish action flick. Though some movies can string you along for a while, two minutes into "Spirit of Vengeance" and you're already knee-deep in a nonsensical action movie of the highest order, one that is equal measures laughable and cringe-worthy.
