Pat Sajak Says He Used To Get Drunk Before 'Wheel Of Fortune'

Pat Sajak has admitted that he and Vanna White would often drink heavily before filming early editions of "Wheel of Fortune." During a recent interview with ESPN2, the fame television host says that they didn't take their jobs too seriously in the beginning. "Vanna and I would . . . have two or three or six and then come and do the last shows and have trouble recognizing the alphabet, I had a great time. I have no idea if the shows were any good, but no one said anything . . ."

Michael Jackson Honored On Hollywood Boulevard By Children

Michael Jackson was honored with a special block of sidewalk on Hollywood Boulevard in which the print from his famed sequin glove was pressed along with a shoe print. Michael's children, Prince, Paris and Blanket added their hand prints at the ceremony. Justin Bieber also attended and was introduced to the assembled crowd by Paris: "My father would have been proud to mentor this person — Justin Bieber — and I am a big fan of his."

Lindsay Lohan Sued For Hitting Woman With Her Car

Lindsay Lohan is being sued by a woman whom she allegedly hit with her car in 2010. The actress was driving her Maserati in West Hollywood on September 1, 2010 when she hit Nubia Del Carmen Preza as Preza was crossing an intersection on foot, according to the lawsuit, which claims that Preza suffered "disabling and serious personal injuries, pain, suffering and anguish." Lohan's spokesman Steve Honig dismissed the claim, noting that neither Lohan nor her lawyers had been served a lawsuit.

'Underworld' Returns To Top Of Box Office With 'Awakening'
With Kate Beckinsale returning to the franchise, "Underworld Awakening" easily ended up as the number one box office draw, earning a solid $25.40 million and showing that "Underworld" still has some commercial viability. Producer George Lucas' "Red Tails" also put up a solid opening weekend, as the historical drama brought in $19 million on a steady $7,604 per venue. Meanwhile, "Haywire" and "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" looked to find a wide audience over the weekend as well, though both struggled to click with their target demographics and finished well below $5,000 per theater. ....

Actor James Farentino Dies At Age 73

Actor James Farentino passed away on Tuesday, January 24 at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles at the age of 73. A spokesman for the family said the immediate cause was heart failure following a long illness. Farentino was best known for his work on television notching nearly 100 roles over a decades long career. Such roles included recurring appearances in "The Bold Ones: The Lawyers," "Dynasty," "Blue Thunder" and "Police Story."

Despite the familiar plot elements and limited imagination, "The Grey" is a grizzly and well-made survival tale, one dripping with intensity and not for the faint of heart. Liam Neeson once again excels as a tough-as-nails hero for a more pragmatic world, anchoring a film that might have buckled without a strong lead performance. It may look like an action-thriller, but "The Grey" is really a horror film at heart and a pretty good one at that.

'Real Steel' And Latest 'Paranormal Activity' Top New DVD Releases

Continuing the popularity of action-thrillers featuring robots, the Hugh Jackman-starring "Real Steel" was a sizeable hit around the globe in theaters and it will be looking to follow up its success this week in the home market as well.
